Frederick and Tiwa (Outside a Bar-shaped place)
Frederick is out in the forest tonight, lying in a clearing by the lake, looking up at the stars. He traces patterns of constellations in the air with one hand, his other arm placed casually under his head and his legs crossed above him. He hums softly as he does so, a wayward tune that seems to vascillate between songs he's only vaguely familiar with, and nonsensical melodies he's made up on the spot.
The calm, dark water of the lake nearby reflects the glittering specks of light in the clear night sky, creating the illusion of space both above and below.

"Hello."

"Very good, I think you've found the best place."

He reaches for her hand, pulling it to his lips for a light kiss. "Don't you look lovely?"
no subject
"Nothing that special, I just felt like feeling shiny."

Which she doesn't mind and she moves to lean against him.

She smiles and relaxes against him.

He reaches to take a strand of her hair gently between two gloved fingers, stroking and twirling it playfully.
no subject
As he takes her hair, she shifts towards him.
no subject
"I'm not sure you'd want to hear it all. It might make you blush."
He smiles a bit mysteriously at that. He'll let her draw her own conclusions as to what he means.
no subject
She moves enough to look up at him, which means she's leaning on his chest,
"And I like how you see the world."
no subject
"You are utterly exquisite," he tells her, punctuating each word even as he speaks in a voice just barely above a whisper. He strokes her cheek lightly with the back of his fingers. "You are easily the most enchanting soul I have ever met. And I've dreamed of flying away with you, on many a night when I can't sleep."

"It wouldn't matter, really," he says, with a deep breath almost like a sigh. "As long as you were there with me, I could never be anything but content."
He leans down to kiss her forehead, briefly but firmly. He then looks up towards the stars, playing with her hair again.
"Just... somewhere. Away, I suppose."
no subject
"I can take you to the Dreaming."
no subject
"And where is that, my dear girl?" he asks, his voice returning to its former cooing murmur. "It sounds lovely."
no subject
After all, she's flown many skies and its the flying that's the joy.
no subject
"The question is, should we go now, or do I want to stay here with you in this beautiful clearing for a little while longer? I really can't decide." He bends to touch his nose to hers, closing his eyes and breathing in her scent.
no subject
"It can wait."
no subject
"Yes. It can," he agrees, pulling back to grin at her. He knows he's put her in a bit of a compromising position, so he gives her enough room to get up if she doesn't like it.
Or she can pull him back down again.
no subject
"Yes."
no subject
"M'dear, you could not possibly be any more adorable than you are!" he declares, and then proceeds to cover her face with kisses.
no subject
"Just adorable?"
